Fixed Transom Window Units
Our Fixed Transom Window Unit are made with all wood. Side jambs and top jambs are 1" x 2 1/2", casings are 3/4" x 3 1/2". The bottom sill have a 10°. Fixed Transom Window Unit is a non-venting or inoperable window unit. The transom is made of all wood. The stiles and rails are 1 3/16" thick x 1 11/16" wide. Muntins are 1 3/16" thick x 11/16” wide. Transoms are screwed together with zinc plated screws. The transoms are true-divided-lites. Stiles, rails and muntins are molded on both sides of the single strength glass (2.5 mm thick) There is a small bead of clear latex silicone caulking where the glass meets the wood on the outside of the window to make them weathertight.

A window unit with a fixed upper sash and a operating lower sash. Our Single Hung Window Units are made of all wood. Side jambs and top jambs are 3/4" x 2 1/2", the casings are 3/4" w x 3 1/2". The bottom sill have a 10°. Barrel bolts are used to keep lower sash open or closed. The sashes are true-divided-lites.
